Bravo. I had to restrain myself from highlighting the entire second half of your story which, according to me, is the real story. We find ourselves with access to the truth about our elected officials and the role this country plays in the world and its history. It's mighty ugly. Reactions to these truths are varied. I don't know what comes next. But I can never unknow that I am part of the Empire.
