I agree with another commenter's recommendatjons if Young Frankenstein and Idiocracy. I also suggest, from the 80s, Ruthless People and The War of the Roses. Both are dark (different shades of dark) but they are hilarious, snapshots of their time, and they still hold up. Ruthless People's comedy os in your face, but the weird thing about War of the Roses is that it's treated like and filmed like a comedy, but it's so dark that you sometimes wondwr if it's ok that you're laughing. Ask anyone who's been through a divorce, though: it's definitely ok.
