I believe that if the DNC really cared about saving democracy from the right wing fascists in this country, then they'd run a candidate who can actually win. Barring some unforeseen event that sidelines Trump, I don't think Biden can win this election without his base, without people of color, without Gen Z, and without the many of us who refuse to vote for a man whose loyalty to Netenyahu comes before his loyalty to U.S. voters. Democrats and Republicans are not the same, but they serve the same interests: the moneyed elite and corporations, and apparently, Israel. They would rather condemn U.S. college students for exercizing their right to peacefully assemble to protest a genocide, and categorize them as left wing terrorists, than call for a ceasefire, get Netanyahu under control and stop blocking aid to the innocent surviving Palestinian civilians who are starving to death. The majority of Democrats, including Biden, are useless to the electorate, obviously corrupt, and if they get reelected they will not all of a sudden get to work serving the electorate. The corruption on both sides runs rampant in all 3 branches of govt. Your beef should not be with disenfranchised voters who refuse to vote for a genocidal actor just because a Trump presidency will be scary for you. Life is already scary for a lot of people in this country. The DNC knew that Biden doesn't have the support to win a second term. They know a large portion of the Democratic base as well as independents will not vote for him. They're running him anyway because, just like in 2016, they think they know what's best for us. They're either incredibly incompetent or incredibly arrogant. But you need to take it up with them.
